Our U12 girls took part in the Annual Marion Keane Memorial Ladies Football Tournament in Gurteen yesterday morning which was hosted by Doora Barefield. 10 clubs participated in a number of games over the course of a very wet and windy Saturday.

Our girls played against Doonbeg and Doora Barefield in the group games. In the third game the team were narrowly beaten by Kilmurry Ibrickane .

The last game was against the Banner in the shield final. The girls battled very hard in all positions displaying some great skills, scores and brilliant teamwork which resulted in an comprehensive win to claim the shield.

This was the last u12 football game of the season for a number of our girls and we wish them well as they move up to U14. We were delighted to welcome the younger girls yesterday and over the course of this season.
