Clarecastle Under 14 boys got their championship off to a winning start this morning in Clarecastle. The Magpies came out hungry and sharp in the first half, hitting the net three times and unlucky not to raise the green flag a couple more. At the break they led 3.7 to 9 points.

True to form Clonlara came back fighting in the 2nd half scoring two goals mid way through but were never able to draw level with the Magpies who settled as the half progressed with some great scores.
