Clarecastle produced a dominant second-half performance to secure a 14-point victory over Kilmaley in the third round of the U17 Hurling Championship this evening in Kilmaley.

Despite a tight first half where Clarecastle led by just 5 points at the break, the Magpies were in top form in the final 30 minutes.

Midway through the second half Tadhg Duffy struck a superb goal, extending the margin between the teams. 

Rory Ralph, Jack Ellingstad, Darragh McDonnell, Sean Meere, Killian Casey, Sean Kelly, Luke Donnelly, and Fionn Plunkett all contributed to the scoring, with points from both play and placed balls.

Clarecastle finished the strongest sealing the win.
