What an incredible start to our Premier Intermediate campaign tonight.
In a game that had all the hallmarks of championship in Tuamgraney , with hooks, blocks, goal line clearances, full-blooded challenges, scores of the highest standard , and an electric atmosphere from the crowd all on display.
Our lads showed dogged determination from the first to the last whistle in a game where the sides were level 8 times to grind out the win.
With all Clarecastle players who took to the Evicted Field making vital contributions, it’s hard to pick standout performers, but the pinpoint puck outs of Cian Broderick and tireless work rate from Cian Galvin, Captain fantastic Colin Brigdale , Conor Whelan and the ever dangerous Harry Doherty certainly led the charge.
It finished Clarecastle 1-22 (25) to Whitegate 0-17
