Patrick Kelly will line out at centre-forward for the Kerry hurlers in tomorrow’s National Hurling League Round 3 tie against Division 1B leaders Wexford on away soil at 2pm.
Kelly has been an ever-present for the Kingdom in this year’s campaign who have had mixed results so far, beating Laois in their opening tie before shipping a sizeable defeat to Limerick last time out.
Stephen O’Halloran, following his Ryan Cup success with the Garda College last weekend along with being Clare’s top scorer in the business end of the All-Ireland third level championships in Galway with 2-8, has been brought into the Clare squad as a late replacement for Shane O’Donnell who failed to recover from a knee strain. He will start on the bench for tomorrow’s National League Division 1A away outing against All-Ireland champions Tipperary in Thurles at 3pm.
Best of luck to both sides!
