There was significant change at the top table following the club's AGM on Sunday. Due to work commitments, outgoing chairman Paschal Russell and treasurer Tim Ryan stepped down from their positions as did longstanding secretary Greg Fogarty after an eleven year spell. All three have been instrumental in spearheading the club into their new facilities with a combined admistrative service of 25 years. Former PRO Brian McAuliffe was elected as the new chairman, Frank 'Cornflakes' Barry became treasurer while the position of secretary has yet to be filled after no candidates were forthcoming. Outgoing secretary Greg Fogarty agreed to continue the role on a temporary basis until March by which time a new secretary will formerly take over. As recommended in the 2008 club review, a 'Hurling Forum' will also take place to in the near future to discuss all levels of the game in the club.
The following officers were elected for the coming year: Chairman; Brian McAuliffe Vice Chairman; Ger Ward Secretary; Greg Fogarty (Temporary) Treasurer; Frank Barry Purchasing Officer/Assistant Treasurer; Michael Ryan Adult Activities Officer; John Callinan Development Officer; John Normoyle PRO; Eoin Brennan Membership/Resistrar: Not Filled Social/Cultural Officer; Siobhan Tierney Field Manager; Martin Reynolds Youth Officer; Willie Halpin Irish/Cultural Officer; Paul Murphy County Board Delegate (Hurling); Bernard Hanrahan County Board Delegate (Football); Michael O'Donoghue
