The 1911 Census in Ireland is now available from the National Archives where you can trace back your family history and find out about your relatives household, occupations, whether they could speak Irish or not and even the amount of windows in the house. You can also get an idea of what Ireland was like back in 1911. To find the website, just click on the links category at the top of the page, go to community links and take it from there. Beware that you will need as much information about your ancestors as possible but it is a fascinating insight into life back then that is well worth a visit.
